Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team at BusBuddy. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our company. Your main responsibility will be to identify and engage with potential clients, nurturing relationships, and generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and target markets.
  2. Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
  3. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  4. Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, pain points, and challenges.
  5. Present and demonstrate BusBuddy's products and services to prospective clients.
  6. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their ongoing requirements and providing exceptional customer service.
  7. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and campaigns to drive business growth.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  9. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent BusBuddy and promote our solutions.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, prospecting efforts, and pipeline management.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients.
  4. Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  5. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  8. Knowledge of the school transportation industry or related fields is a plus.
  9. Willingness to travel as required.
